October Inspiration Challenge from Altenew.  The challenge was to use yellows, oranges and browns.  The picture below was the inspiration piece.  I used Altenew beautiful flowers set for my flower stamping.  They were colored with Zig and Artezqa brush pens.  Sayings are from the I Adore You set also from Altenew.  The center piece was done using distress oxide inks and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Concord and 9th Snowflake turnabout. Stamped using Tim Holtz tumbled glass and blue print sketch, Versamark embossed with Silver Pearl and White Satin and Diamonds embossing powder.

This challenge was done using pink, peach, berry red and green.  I stamped the flowers with versamark and embossed with silver detail powder.  Coloring was done using Zig Real Brush Markers.  I trimmed around the top of the flowers and mounted on a light green card base.  Attached the die cut sentiment after stacking 3 of the sweets together.

My card uses the Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew.  I centered the flowers around an oval window and colored them with Zig Water Brush markers.  The shaker was created using a light pink background and a light lavendar oval around the inside of the window.  It was filled with seed beads and sequins in pink, lavendar and green.  #AltenewChallenge

Merry and Bright

I used an older poinsettia stamp in this card.  The stamp was by company that is no longer called Effie Glitzheimer.  I colored it using distress inks festive berries and peeled paint.  The dark green festive vegetation are from a die set by Couture Creations.  The Merry and the sentiment strips are from Hero Arts. I added a line of stitching with x’s across the top and bottom of the white card base.  Green jewels were added to the flower centers and as adornments.

This card was made using Tim Holtz wildflowers 2 die set.  I colored a piece of white card stock with festive berries, blueprint sketch and spiced marmalade distress inks.  I mounted the die cut flowers onto a piece of light blue vellum.  Using a light blue card base, I added a red and orange stripe then the flower arrangement.  I stamped the word “for your kindness” onto a piece of the distress paper used for the wildflowers and cut it into a thin strip.Image may contain: text
